Harassment and Intimidation Prevention

 

In today's work, how people treat one another affects not only workplace morale, but also workplace productivity.  Workplace harassment and intimidation, left unaddressed, create a hostile work environment that compromises performance, risks legal liability and generates mistrust and conflict.  A combination of policy response and changing expectations is required to rebuild constructive working relationships.  Henderson Woods offers an interactive, dialogue-based approach to harassment, discrimination, and intimidation prevention training focused on developing shared expectations of mutual respect and recognition.  Our training communicates a change message at the same time as it generates buy-in for a "different way" of going forward.  

 

 

 

 

Conflict Resolution and Conflict Management

 

Conflict resolution is central to relationship building.  New faces, greater diversity, organizational change, the introduction of new work processes or procedures all increase the likelihood of conflict. Conflict can be costly and disruptive if unaddressed, but it's not necessarily bad.  Conflict indicates something's not working or not understood.  Fixing the problem can be source of learning, innovation, relationship building and empowerment for workplaces of any size.

 

Henderson Woods offers conflict resolution facilitation and training services that engage both parties in solution finding.  Our facilitation services assist in conflicts between both groups and individuals.  We work with organizational leadership to build the skills to empower competency and confidence in conflict situations.

 

Not all conflict is interpersonal, although there are interpersonal consequences for disputants.  We assist leadership to think through the implications of conflict within a broader organizational framework or change initiative.
